’25 SX Schedule Teaser 1

First four, then eight, rounds of 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross announced.

Monster Energy Supercross 25 - The Official Video Game Teased

The new video game, Monster Energy Supercross 25 - The Official Video Game, was teased ahead of its anticipated spring release. Check out the full press release from Milestone.

Tomac Replaced Sexton on Team USA

Yamaha announced Eli Tomac will replace Chase Sexton as the MXGP rider on Team USA’s Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations roster.

KTM Confirms Injuries to Sexton

Late Monday night, KTM confirmed Sexton suffered a bone contusion in his right hand and a banged up shoulder, which would keep him from being fully healthy by next weekend’s MXoN.

Jordon Smith Confirms Departure from Star Yamaha

After a third-place overall finish at the 250SMX finale, Smith confirmed his departure from Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing and thanked the team for hits two years on BluCru.

Smith has been linked to a ride with Triumph Racing, so stay tuned over the next few weeks as new SMX contracts get announced.

Pierce Brown Confirms Departure from GasGas

After earning his first career win at the SMX finale, Brown confirmed his time with Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/GasGas is over. He is expected to join the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing team for 2025.

’25 SX Schedule Teaser 2 and 3

Rounds nine through 12 were released. Then, the final five rounds were announced, giving us cities and dates for all 17 rounds.

Joey Savatgy Joins Firepower Honda

After splitting with Triumph Racing, Savatgy lands with the Australian-based Honda team for the ’24 FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX) series overseas and we expect Savatgy to remain on a Firepower Honda CRF450R for the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross championship here in the U.S. Read the full press release on Savatgy.

Max Vohland, ClubMX Deal Announced

After one year with Kawasaki that was cut short due to injury, Max Vohland has signed a two-year deal with Muc-Off/FXR/ClubMX Yamaha for the 2025 and 2026 SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) seasons.

2025 AMA Pro Motocross Championship Rolled Out

The 2025 AMA Pro Motocross Championship schedule was rolled out in similar fashion to the supercross schedule, with rounds one through three being announced first in the morning and rounds four through six being announced in the afternoon.

Full 2025 SMX Regular Season Schedules Announced

By the end of Thursday, we knew the cites, dates, and venues for all 28 regular season rounds of the 2025 SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX). Next weekend, the 250SX West/East Regions, Triple Crown races, SX Futures, KTM Juniors, track maps, and more are all expected to be released, and tickets will go on sale. Stay tuned for that early next week. The SMX Playoff dates and locations will also be announced soon.

AMA Releases '25 National Numbers 

Right as the work week was coming to an end, the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) announced the 2025 AMA Supercross and Motocross National Numbers. Check out the full list of ’25 two-digit numbers.

Coming Up This Weekend (Saturday/Sunday)

Pastrana Pro Challenge

Travis Pastrana’s Pro Challenge will take place this weekend at Pleasure Valley Raceway in Seward, Pennsylvania. There will be racing all weekend long, which also features round seven of the Women’s Motocross (WMX) Championship. Follow Pleasure Valley Raceway’s social channels for updates throughout the weekend.

The John Penton GNCC

Round 12 of the 13-round Progressive Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series takes place in Millfield, Ohio. KTM’s Jonathan Girroir already clinched the title at the round 11 Mountaineer GNCC, but these final two rounds should still provide great racing. Tune into RacerTV.com live on Saturday (ATVs) and Sunday (bikes).

MXGP Finale: Preview of Prado vs Gajser

The final round of the 2024 FIM Motocross World Championship (MXGP) is set for this weekend in Spain. Jorge Prado (GasGas) leads Tim Gajser (Honda) by seven points as we have one qualifying race (ten points) and two motos (50 points) to determine the 2024 champion.

The MXGP of Castilla La Mancha in Spain will see two champions crowned, one MX2 champion and one MXGP champion. Tune into MXGP-TV both Saturday (qualifying) and Sunday (motos).
