On his personal X account today, journalist Lewis Phillips has received and distributed a statement today from the Lawrence family, which has fired long-time agent Lucas Mirtl. The statement is below.

Mirtl has now responded with his own take on his own Instagram account, which is private, so we will not link it here. We can paraphrase by saying Mirtl has posted that he was completely blindsided by this news and was not informed of any of this by either the Wasserman agency or the Lawrence family, and he believes this is an attempt at a public smear job to discredit him.
