Lawrence officially finished 2-2-21 for eighth overall on the night. He leaves round four fifth in the standings with 71 points. Chase Sexton, points leader at the end of the night, has 84 points.

Update After the Press Conference

In the post-race press conference, TV reporter/press conference host Haley Shanley shared an update from Honda HRC Progressive, saying:

And Lewis Phillips posted that Lawrence was leaving the stadium on crutches.

Update: HRC Honda Progressive team manager Lars Lindstrom reported on the SMX Insider Post Race Show that it's possible Jett suffered only a knee "stinger" which resulted in temporary pain, as a few quick tests by both the Alpinestars Medics and the Lawrences personal physiotherapist "Doc G" showed some stability in the knee. Lindstrom mentioned that Jett has never suffered a knee injury before so any feeling of pain inside the joint is new for him. An MRI on Monday will reveal more information.

Honda HRC Progressive announced Jett Lawrence has in fact suffered a torn ACL, which will require surgery and force him to miss the remainder of supercross.
